The New Balance 9060 is a fresh expression of refined style and innovation-driven design, making the 99X series home to some of the brand’s most iconic models. It reinterprets familiar elements from classic 99X silhouettes with a distorted, Y2K-inspired futuristic aesthetic. The sway bar from the 990 is expanded across the upper to create visible movement, while wavy lines and exaggerated proportions on the pod-style midsole emphasize the familiar ABZORB and SBS cushioning. The shoe features a synthetic upper, a dual-density midsole with ABZORB and SBS cushioning, a tongue logo inspired by the original 991 lace jewel, a diamond-patterned outsole inspired by the classic 860, and a lace-up closure for a secure fit.
